We ate here for birthday celebration with about 14 of us and reserved the Hamilton room I think that was the name. Service was great! Food was good!

I agree with the other reviewers. This is a HUGE missed opportunity for a beautiful location and beautiful decor.
Service was "okay" but a bit on the slow side.
The food is downright terrible. We ordered the brisket nachos and they were almost inedible. The meat looked and tasted like some sort of raw-ish bacon and had a terrible texture. (It was so bad it drove me to come here and take time to write this review.) Not to mention, even if the meat had been good, it was sparse. My husband didn't care for the fish tacos - not to mention they come with a small side of chips and a tiny ramekin of salsa.
My daughter enjoyed the french fries from her kids meal - that's about it.
We won't be returning. Hopefully they can revamp their menu and improve on the food quality so that their food matches the ambiance. -

The food is wayyyy overpriced for what you get and quality low. We got the alligator appetizer along with the brisket nachos and honestly the gator could have been chicken nuggets and the brisket on the nachos didn't resemble actual brisket but more like some sort of pressed/processed "meat product" and the chips soggy upon arrival.
On the up side our waiter was awesome as was the wait staff in general, very nice and professional.
My son loved the brisket Mac&Cheese and ate all of it and loved it so there's that...
Really hoped this was gonna be a great place but again the food quality and the price just ruins what could be a unique and fun dining experience. Sadly we won't be back.... -

A very disappointing meal despite a wonderful outing with my family in the Bass Pro Shop. (Granddaughters like to watch big fish swim by.)
We got there early with a party of 6 hungry people. I was led astray by the hostess that I could use some of my huge accumulation of Bass Pro dollars to pay for the meal.
We were seated with a great view of the salt water fish tank and the bluff over looking the lake. That is worth a bonus star! The restaurant is full of trophy fish, lodge style decor and high ceilings with wonderful lighting! The tables and seats are comfortable and allow you to sit and gorge for hours!
I initially opted for the fish and chips special (all one could eat) but was advised once the order was taken that wasn't available but the all one could eat shrimp special was on. I decided that would work. We also ordered the fried alligator appetizer. He brought out drinks and plenty of lemons for my iced tea.
The alligator was heavenly light, tasty (I'm not fond of reptiles usually, but this was really good!), fried golden tan with a very tasty spicy dipping sauce. It was the best item on the menu (next to the sugar dusted hot bread loaves). Even my granddaughter who hated alligator was sneaking extra bites.
The shrimp came out and they had added a piece of fish since that is what I originally wanted. The shrimp were rather shrimpy in size, filleted and fried flat with a Panko like crumb batter. They might have been frozen as they didn't taste fresh. There were pieces and not all were whole. Not overly impressive taste of the shrimp but way better than the fish. I was very happy it was not the right day for the fish. The fish was heavily beer battered, rubbery and greasy. I was starved so ate way too many shrimp AND the fish. The fries that came with the shrimp were heavily seasoned and not anything special, but edible with enough ketchup.
The others were okay with their meals, but not thrilled. Absolutely not worthy to have been served alongside a large Bass Pro Shop with such a fantastic view!
Service was good and drinks were topped off quickly. Expensive for the taste and quality. -

Update 8/19
Well was shocked at price increases since last visit ...no longer a place will go on a whim. Fried pickles are not as good either !
